Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You’ll act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy, oversee operations, and uphold safe dispensing practices while delivering compassionate patient care.

You will travel within a reasonable radius, support immunization services, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations, including maintaining patient privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Comfortably cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy when needed.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Support immunizations and patient care, and coach pharmacy staff to deliver compassionate service.
