Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist shifts across stores in the district. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee operations, and help ensure compliant, high‑quality patient care.

This role emphasizes travel, immunization services where permissible, and active participation in patient safety, inventory management, and team coaching. Full‑time position in CVS Health stores nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the state of the store.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager with day-to-day duties when on duty.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following procedures.
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations where permissible.
• Support inventory management and protect cold chain products.
• Deliver compassionate care and coach the pharmacy team.
