Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across multiple stores. You will support pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and provide immunization services where permissible. This role requires travel within the district and a strong commitment to patient care.

The position is part-time (about 20 hours/week) with competitive benefits and a pay range of $60.00–$76.00 per hour. Active pharmacist license and NPI are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support pharmacy operations within the district.
• Fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Assist with immunizations and counseling to improve patient outcomes.
• Support inventory management and cold chain protection across pharmacies.
