Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. The role emphasizes safe dispensing, patient counseling, immunization delivery, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

You will travel within the district, support the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure compliance with pharmacy workflow and safety procedures while providing clinical care and partnering with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Living CVS Health values by delivering safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations.
Support safe prescription fulfillment and guide pharmacy team to follow workflow and safety guardrails.
Cover Pharmacy Manager duties when acting as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty.
Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy and coaching of the pharmacy team.
Deliver immunizations and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize.
