Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking an Operational expert in San Diego on a part-time basis, with potential to grow to full time. You will analyze operational performance, improve data quality, and drive standardization by partnering with district stakeholders and deploying Lean solutions.

Your SME expertise and strong communication will guide training and adoption of new processes, tools, and performance measures across districts.

Qualifications

• Expeditors Product and Service knowledge. More than 2 years of experience within operations preferred.
• Developing leadership skills and self-management.
• Proficient in process mapping and root-cause analysis.
• Experience leading communication, public speaking, and training.
• Strong interpersonal skills across levels and teams.
• Analytical skills with MS Office, Power BI, SharePoint, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Operational Performance with stakeholders to improve efficiency and standardization.
• Review performance data, trends, and reports to drive decisions.
• Analyze Data Quality and support data-driven district initiatives.
• Collaborate with district teams to drive Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Observe and map operational processes within the District.
• Join daily huddles to support Teams and promote quality culture.
• Support deployments; ensure district engagement in new tools and processes.
• Provide SME input and training to district stakeholders as needed.
• Communicate deployment progress and expectations to the district.
• Lead CAPA activities to ensure value delivery and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Management Review Meetings and use standard documentation tools.
• Promote continuous improvement and share best practices across branches.
