Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a part-time Operational expert in the San Diego district to support increasing efficiency, standardization, and quality. The role starts part-time and will grow to full-time as district needs evolve.

The successful candidate will work with Shared Services Manager, analyze operational performance, data quality, and deployments, and train stakeholders across the district in Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Product and service knowledge; 2+ years in operations preferred.
• Developing leadership skills.
• Self-management and project management skills.
• Proficient in process mapping and root-cause analysis.
• Experience leading communications and training.
• Interpersonal skills across levels.
• Strong PC skills and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Operational Performance with district stakeholders to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Review data, trends, and reports from performance tools.
• Analyze Data Quality with district stakeholders.
• Assist in Deployment and adoption of processes and technology.
• Serve as a district SME to provide input and training.
• Lead CAPA and MRM processes and participate in district leadership meetings.
• Promote continuous improvement and document progress.
