Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or HSE and at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in highway maintenance/operations is advantageous.
• Ability to lead and direct sub district employees and coordinate with multiple agencies.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities to maximize use of personnel, time, and equipment.
• Coordinate and respond to INDOT emergencies including snow and ice events.
• Plan, track, and manage operating budgets up to $5,000,000.
• Advise and supervise maintenance activities, schedules, and resource needs.
• Recruit, onboard, and train sub district staff; conduct annual evaluations and disciplinary actions.
