Job summary

Indie Campers is seeking a District Manager to own the end-to-end performance of a group of depots. You will translate region priorities into concrete district plans, lead Operations Managers, and drive revenue, profitability, fleet availability, and customer experience.

You’ll have full accountability for the district P&L, oversee labor allocation, SOP adherence, and cross-functional collaboration with Revenue, Finance, and Central Operations. Willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in operations, ideally in mobility or high-volume environments.
• 3–5 years of experience leading multi-site operations and managing managers.
• Proven ownership of a multi-site P&L including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong business and financial acumen with data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing KPIs, workforce planning, and improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and accountability skills.
• Fluency in English; a second local language is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or related certifications are a plus.
• Experience in seasonal or geographically dispersed operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the district P&L and drive revenue, profitability, productivity, and cost performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers across the district.
• Translate priorities into district plans based on demand and performance.
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
• Allocate labor and resources to maximize utilization and service continuity.
• Ensure SOPs, safety, compliance, and customer service standards are met.
• Drive workforce planning and succession across the district.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Finance, Fleet, People, and Central Operations to resolve constraints.
• Lead cross-depot improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Communicate district results and risks to regional leadership; travel frequently.
