The role requires strong experience in voice and data networks, VLANs, wireless tech, and Windows servers, with the ability to oversee infrastructure projects, document systems, and provide help desk support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer technology or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10 years experience in voice and data network management.
• Working knowledge of VOIP, VLAN, and wireless techniques.
• Working knowledge of virtual servers and Windows Server OS.
• Experience in pulling and terminating copper and fiber cabling.

Responsibilities

• Provide research and development to maintain a district-wide infrastructure.
• Maintain efficient operability of all network and Internet services.
• Develop, design, and supervise installation of voice and data networks and equipment.
• Maintain security of district LANs and WANs.
• Develop and maintain WIFI coverage across the district.
• Maintain and document voice and data networks and equipment.
• Assist in managing Office 365 mail server and filtering.
• Plan and implement cybersecurity measures; assist in problem solving.
• Consult with users to solve voice and data problems; provide help desk support.
