Job summary

West Ottawa Public Schools seeks an MTSS Coordinator to oversee special education and student support services district-wide, reporting to the Director of Special Education. You will lead Section 504 compliance, implement MTSS and PBIS, analyze data, and provide diagnostics and staff development.

This role requires strong collaboration with school teams and families to ensure equitable, legally compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ed.S. in education or related field.
• Valid State Certification/Licensure in special education.
• 3–5 years diagnostic staff or school psychology experience preferred.
• Experience leading MTSS, 504, and PBIS initiatives.
• Strong data analysis, collaboration, and dispute resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Section 504 consultation and compliance oversight district-wide.
• Lead MTSS and PBIS implementation, scaling, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze data, screenings, and interventions.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams in data-driven decision making.
• Provide clinical consultation and mentor school psychologists.
• Deliver professional development and staff coaching.
• Engage families and community resources to support students.
