As District Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple resorts while upholding these values and ensuring the financial success and operational efficiency of each location.

Position Overview

The District Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple Great Escapes RV Resort locations. This individual must balance financial performance, operational execution, and guest experience while providing strong leadership to General Managers and resort teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospitality leadership, financial management, and team development, with a passion for outdoor hospitality and guest satisfaction. This position requires an intentional, proactive leader who can effectively manage budgets, implement strategic initiatives, and foster a positive company culture.

1. Financial Leadership & Business Performance
  • Develop, manage, and analyze annual budgets for each resort, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and optimize key financial metrics, including occupancy rates, revenue per site, labor efficiency, and ancillary revenue streams.
  • Provide quarterly financial reports and updates to investors and company leadership.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor performance to inform pricing, marketing, and operational strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings while maintaining service excellence.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to resort managers to improve financial performance and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating enthusiasm, patience, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Mentor and coach General Managers, providing the training and support needed for success.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, ensuring that leadership and front-line teams are aligned on company goals.
  • Develop and implement leadership training programs to support professional growth and team performance.
  • Encourage collaboration among resorts, sharing best practices and operational improvements.
3. Operational Excellence
  • Ensure each resort meets Great Escapes' high standards for cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to evaluate operations, address challenges, and implement best practices.
  • Promote a structured, intentional approach to daily operations, ensuring consistency across locations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational effectiveness.
4. Guest Experience & Hospitality Mindset
  • Champion a hospitality-focused culture, ensuring that every guest interaction is positive and intentional.
  • Develop and support guest programs, special events, and recreational activities to enhance the resort experience.
  • Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction scores, implementing action plans for improvement.
  • Ensure that all resort staff maintain a welcoming and service-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute location-specific promotions and campaigns.
  • Support resort managers in implementing strategies to increase occupancy and guest engagement.
  • Engage in local partnerships and community outreach to enhance the visibility of Great Escapes RV Resorts.
6. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure that safety remains the top priority in all resort operations.
  • Oversee compliance with health, environmental, and industry regulations to maintain a secure and well-managed environment.
  • Ensure that all team members are trained in safety protocols and risk management.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years of multi-site leadership experience in hospitality, outdoor recreation, or related industries.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and make strategic recommendations to improve performance.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Experience with operational best practices in hospitality or campground management.
  • Proficiency in financial software, property management systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently, including weekends, and work in outdoor environments as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
