Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a District Manager in Training in Greenwood, SC. You will learn to oversee operations across multiple stores, partnering with Store Managers to build strong teams and drive performance.

You will lead store leaders, analyze sales trends, manage inventory and payroll, and ensure audit accuracy while delivering an inviting, safe shopping environment. This role requires travel and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory capabilities are required.
• Experience with merchandising is required.
• Previous recruiting experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop store leaders to deliver exceptional shopping experiences.
• Analyze district sales results to drive sales growth.
• Maintain inventory mix and merchandise presentation.
• Partner with store managers to recruit and train new associates.
• Foster growth and development of associates into leadership roles.
• Manage payroll hours.
• Ensure cash control and conduct store audits.
• Monitor inventory shrinkage and prevent losses.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional store environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with associates, leaders, and communities.
• Travel up to 50% of the time with overnight stays as needed.
