Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, seeks a District Manager to drive strategic and operational leadership across an assigned district.

You will guide branch leaders to deliver sales, operations, and financial results while translating corporate priorities into clear local expectations and accountability. You will develop talent, manage performance, and build a high-performing district through coaching, succession planning, and vendor partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Technology is required.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Talent Development: recruit, hire and onboard; build leadership bench strength.
• Operational & Financial Oversight: manage district P&L, drive sales, margin and productivity.
• Market Growth & Strategy: lead district growth plans, identify whitespace opportunities and track progress.
• Change Leadership: translate corporate strategy into district priorities and ensure adoption.
• Customer & Vendor Relations: maintain key relationships and support escalation and service levels.
• Field Presence & Community Engagement: maintain district cadence and community presence.

Education
