Job summary

Pinnacle Dietary Global is seeking a District Manager to oversee multi-unit accounts under the Regional Operations Manager. You will lead a team of food service directors to ensure sanitation, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and excellent communication with facility administration. Travel to assigned locations is mandatory and may expand as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven leadership experience in multi-unit setting.
• Current CDM and ServSafe Certification.
• Covid Vaccine, Physical exam and PPD test required.
• Experience in healthcare food service operations.
• Excellent communication skills with client relationship building and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, and onboard new directors and staff within established timeframes.
• Conducts sanitation inspections with directors and implements Plan of Correction.
• Communicates expectations and ensures accountability of directors and staff.
• Oversees spending, food procurement, and ensures budget compliance.
• Troubleshoots day-to-day operational issues and addresses administration concerns.
• Ensures corporate compliance through reports and in-services.
• Maintains regular communication with Directors via calls and TEAMS meetings.
• Ensures adherence to Facility, Local, State and Federal Regulations.
• Maintains relationships with facility administration and staff; conducts on-site meetings.
• Promotes growth and development of Directors through goal setting and follow-up.
• Attends resident councils and food-related events; engages with residents to gather feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned by regional manager and VP.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Regional Operations Manager, the District Managerwill manage and direct the operation of multi-unit assigned accounts. The district manager will oversee a team of food service directors to ensure PDG meets a service of excellence through sanitation, corporate compliance, and resident satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruits, Trains, and Onboards new directors and staff within established timeframes.
• Conducts, with the directors, weekly sanitation inspections and assigns Plan of Correction (POC) within timeframe for completion. Performs follow-up and direction with POC development and sustained corrective actions.
• Communicate expectations and ensure accountability of directors and staff.
• Oversees spending, food procurement and ensures established budget compliance.
• Troubleshoots and addresses day-to-day operational issues and those voiced by administration.
• Ensures corporate compliance through WhatsApp participation, weekly accounting reports, census reports, test trays and scheduled in-services.
• Maintains regular communication with Directors of assigned accounts through conference calls and TEAMS Meetings.
• Ensures adherence to all Facility, Local, State and Federal Regulations.
• Maintains excellent relationships with facility administration and department employees. Initiate one-on-one meetings with DON or admin when on site.
• Promotes professional growth and development of Directors through establishing goals, monitors execution and performs follow up.
• Maintains a presentable and professional work attire including name tag.
• Attends Resident council, food committee and other onsite food related events.
• Interacts with residents to build trust, gather feedback and improve satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned by regional manager and VP.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year experience operating a single PDG account.
• Minimum of 5 years proven leadership experience in multi-unit setting.
• Experience in the healthcare food service operations.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on client relationship building and employee engagement.
• Current CDM and Serv-safe Certification.
• Strong knowledge of current food trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost and plate presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Must be forward thinking, initiative-taking, and the face of Pinnacle Dietary Global.
