The District Manager is responsible for driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, and customer experience across multiple retail locations. This leadership role oversees store operations, develops high-performing teams, ensures consistent execution of company standards, and maximizes productivity and business performance. The District Manager serves as a key representative to customers, employees, vendors, and internal leadership while fostering a strong culture of engagement, accountability, safety, compliance, and people development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and inspire Managers and store teams across multiple locations.
- Drive top-line sales and bottom-line profitability within the assigned district.
- Ensure all locations consistently deliver a positive, friendly, and high-quality customer experience.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, serviceability, merchandising, signage, pricing, and overall store execution.
- Provide hands-on leadership and coaching to store teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Create a culture of teamwork, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Set the example for store teams by demonstrating strong leadership, initiative, professionalism, and enthusiasm for company initiatives and promotions.
- Ensure locations consistently adhere to company operating, compliance, and execution standards.
- Conduct regular site audits and proactively identify, address, and resolve operational issues.
- Manage resources effectively across locations to maximize productivity and business performance.
- Maintain strong and positive communication with customers, store leadership, employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships to support business growth and long‑term performance.
- Develop and retain high‑performing direct reports while building a strong internal talent pipeline for future leadership opportunities.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to store teams.
- Address performance issues appropriately and consistently, in partnership with Human Resources and senior operations leadership.
- Ensure all locations maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Monitor store performance and take proactive action to improve sales, profitability, productivity, and operational execution.
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience leading multiple retail, convenience, or similar business locations required.
- Proven success in a multi‑location leadership position with responsibility for sales, profitability, and operational performance.

- Passion for customer service with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
