Job summary

Insomnia Cookies seeks a District Manager to lead 9–10 city and campus-adjacent stores in the Texas South market. You will drive top-line sales, hiring/retention, and customer service training while crafting regional strategies and plans.

You lead by example, developing diverse teams that know their markets and customers, delivering strong performance across the region. The role emphasizes labor optimization, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to community engagement in Texas South

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as multi-unit regional manager in food & beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a customer service oriented role.
• Ability to hire, coach and develop a diverse hourly staff.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain, P&L analysis, customer service, compliance and HR.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with bakery or kitchen equipment is a plus.

As we grow our brand and community of Insomniacs, we are seeking to add a skilled District Manager to drive the performance success for 9-10 of our city and campus adjacent stores in our Texas South market. In this role, our DM’s focus on driving top-line sales, hiring/retention, customer service training and strategic planning. You are a leader of leaders, developing diverse teams that know their markets, communities, and customers.

Using your past leadership experience, you will:

• Develop and execute regional support strategies that achieve each store’s financial, operational and customer-service goals, while thinking outside the box to address each store’s unique strengths and challenges.
• Provide expertise on customer service challenges, team staffing, store operations and company policies & procedures.
• Assist in effectively managing labor in conjunction with Director of Workforce Planning, regional support team and Store Operations Managers.

What we seek:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as multi-unit regional manager in the food & beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a customer service-oriented role.
• An innate ability to build, hire and coach a diverse part-time hourly staff.
• In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, P&L analysis, customer service, compliance, human resources).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience with baking/bakery equipment/commercial kitchen equipment, a plus!
