Job summary

James Edward & Companies, Inc. is seeking a District Manager to lead a group of Account Managers (ASMs) responsible for in-store execution with key customers.

The role includes coaching and developing the team, driving Red Bull initiatives, and monitoring KPIs across assigned accounts. You will spend two days weekly on route rides, train ASMs in selling skills, and maintain close communications with retail partners to implement national and local programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management experience with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; 6+ years’ experience in a similar role in lieu of education.
• 2+ years’ management experience in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales volume and track KPI targets for each ASM; monitor monthly KPI performance.
• Spend two days per week on route rides to train and evaluate ASM performance and in-market execution.
• Establish and maintain regular communications with retail partners and decision makers to implement national and local programming.
• Teach ASMs selling skills using the established process and retail math.
• Conduct regular ASM meetings to improve execution and recognize results.
• Collaborate across the organization, share best practices, and lead peers as a team player.
• Ensure ASM team understands and adheres to Company standards and SOPs.
• Build a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace and demonstrates strong leadership.
• Demonstrate urgency, commitment, and problem-solving in all duties; act with integrity and professionalism.

The District Manager’s main priority is managing and leading a group of Account Managers (ASMs) that are accountable for in-store execution through a set group of key customers. The District Manager will also be responsible for coaching and developing their respective teams. District Managers are accountable for driving Red Bull initiatives and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through a set group of key customers.Responsibilities:Drive sales volume, track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets for each assigned ASM and track the execution of these monthly KPI’s.
