Job summary

PacifiCorp in Wyoming/Worland region is seeking a District Lineman. This Journeyman role is responsible for the full range of distribution and transmission line work, servicing meters, and leading a crew within an assigned service area from their home base.

The District Lineman will report to the Operations Manager, supervise (or assist) crew members, and ensure safe, reliable operation. A high school diploma and Journeyman certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Journeyman Lineman certification or testing through UWUA 127.
• Completion of a formal training program for a Journeyman Lineman.
• Must meet examining board review of skills and experience.
• Must have formal hot stick training and experience.
• Must own, or be able to obtain, a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must have the ability to represent the company in customer relation activities within the local service area.

Responsibilities

• Constructing and maintaining distribution and transmission lines, servicing street lights, transformers and related equipment.
• Installing, removing and reading all types of meters and metering devices.
• Investigating and resolving customer service complaints including radio interference.
• Collecting delinquent accounts.
• Provide directions on the work for other team members.

Class A Commercial Driver's License

Ability to represent the company in customer relation activities
