Job summary

Irby Utilities, in partnership with Sonepar Canada, Inc., seeks an experienced District Leader to own the P&L for the assigned district, directing sales and operations across branches and warehouses. You will manage outside/inside sales teams, logistics, and vendor relationships to drive growth and profitability.

The role requires travel, strong leadership, and a proven track record in sales and operations.

Qualifications

7+ years of Sales and/or Operations Leadership experience.
Proven ability to attract and hire talent.
Proven track record of developing people and driving performance.
Excellent relationship-building skills with customers and partners.
Advanced MS Office and Excel skills.
Experience in operations management and resource planning.
Strong project management and execution capabilities.
Fast paced, flexible, and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Travel regularly with Sales staff to customer locations to maintain relationships and evaluate performance.
Promote the company in industry and trade associations to raise brand visibility.
Interact with customers to drive service levels and achieve sales goals by resolving issues.
Collaborate with corporate teams to drive short- and long-term utility business results.
Direct and coordinate promotion of products or services to develop new markets and capture share.
Interview, hire, and develop Outside Sales, Outside Specialists, and Branch Managers.
