Job summary

Ultimart is seeking a District Lead (Multi-Location) to oversee daily operations across Ripon, Randolph, Green Lake, Berlin, and Markesan stores. You will travel between locations, support Store Managers, solve problems, and model professional leadership without overrunning store autonomy.

This role requires a flexible schedule, travel between sites, and a proactive approach to guest service and store standards. You will work with the Regional Coach to maintain district performance and morale.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have an insured personal vehicle you can use for work-related travel.
• Must maintain a positive attendance record.
• Must be comfortable supporting multiple store locations daily.
• Must work well with people and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
• Must be able to lead without belittling or undermining Store Managers.
• Must be willing to learn, problem-solve, and adapt to store needs.
• Must be ready to represent the company with professionalism—you will be a visible face of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, supportive guidance to Store Managers.
• Assist with discipline processes when needed and follow professional standards.
• Help stores that are short-staffed or overwhelmed—helping fill in shifts, problem solve, or train new hires.
• Problem-solve operational issues and support store teams with solutions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and set a strong example of professionalism.
• Perform daily audits, paperwork, lottery counts, and fund verification.
• Assist with planograms, tag maintenance, and store standards.
• Conduct store inspections once the program resumes.
• Handle inter-store transfers of product when required.
• Support with cleaning, organizing back rooms, and reducing overstocks.
• Help ensure stores stay compliant with company policies, and state/federal regulations.
• Provide excellent guest service and uphold store appearance standards.

Convenience Store District Lead – Multi-Location

Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour

Locations:Ripon, Randolph, Green Lake, Berlin, and Markesan

We’re excited to introduce a new position within our district leadership team — the District Lead (Multi-Location). This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership qualities, a positive attitude, and the ability to help guide and support multiple store locations each day. The District Lead plays a major role in our company’s success. You will work closely with the Regional Coach (your direct point of contact) and help support our Store Managers to ensure smooth operations, strong morale, and excellent guest service throughout the district.

What This Role Is All About

As a District Lead, you’ll travel to different stores in the district each day. You’ll be an extra layer of support for our Store Managers, helping them problem-solve, stay organized, and continually grow. You are not a replacement for Store Managers, but a leader who supports, guides, and uplifts themwithout overrunning their stores. This role requires flexibility. While schedules are posted a week in advance, unexpected issues do arise, and you must be comfortable taking trouble calls, covering last-minute shifts, and adjusting to sudden schedule changes when necessary.

What You’ll Do

Schedule Expectations

• Must be available to open stores at4:00 a.m.,workmid-shiftsandclosing shifts(as late as 11:00 p.m.)
• Must be available for occasionallast-minute coverage
• One weekend off per month is typically guaranteed, and reasonable request-offs will be honored (except frequent weekends)
