Job summary

Sulphur Springs ISD is seeking a Director of Technology to lead the Information Technology Department and drive district-wide technology strategy. You will oversee development, deployment, and use of technology across schools and administrative functions.

The role requires executive-level experience, strong budget and personnel management, and the ability to align technology with district goals. Work will be conducted in the Administration Building in Sulphur Springs, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of computer network, hardware, and software applications.
• Ability to manage budget and personnel; coordinate district function; implement policy and procedure.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex district needs and develop technical solutions for district-wide use.
• Manage, direct, and assign priorities and personnel to major IT projects.
• Develop and implement district standards for hardware, software, and networking.
• Oversee security, licensing, backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
