FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead a district of maintenance personnel, drive preventive and corrective programs, and ensure safe, compliant facilities that support uninterrupted operations.

You will oversee maintenance technicians and vendors, manage work orders and costs, and partner with Operations to prioritize needs while developing the team for long-term reliability. Travel within the district is required to inspect facilities and coordinate activities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in building maintenance or related field.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and managing vendors/contracts.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors, dock equipment, and facilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop Facility Maintenance Technicians (FMTs) ensuring safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee district maintenance operations, including work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergencies.
• Monitor performance metrics such as aging work orders, response times, backlog, and service quality.
• Partner with Operations to prioritize needs and support uninterrupted operations.
• Manage vendor performance and relationships to meet service standards and optimize costs.
• Control maintenance spend through cost analysis and resource optimization.
• Coordinate daily operations including scheduling, resources, and project execution.
• Oversee payroll, timekeeping, work orders, reporting, inventory, and system compliance.
• Foster team communication to review performance and drive safety and improvement.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
