Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Manager to oversee daily custodial operations across multiple school district facilities in the United States. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–5 years custodial/facilities experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of custodial equipment, cleaning practices, floor care, and sanitation.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and work order management systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between district facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee custodial operations across multiple school district facilities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and quality assurance standards.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and appearance standards.
• Respond to facility-related concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate emergency response activities related to weather events, building incidents, and sanitation needs.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate custodial personnel.
• Foster a positive, customer-focused work environment centered on service excellence.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities for staff.
• Manage labor allocation and staffing levels to support operational needs and budget requirements.
• Ensure compliance with district policies, collective bargaining agreements, and employment regulations where applicable.
