Job summary

USA TODAY Co., Inc. seeks a District Manager to oversee all Home Delivery, Single Copy or HD/SC distribution for a defined geographic area.

The role reports to the Distribution Manager and includes responsibilities for area budgets, route restructuring, and coordinating with contractor partners to maximize volumes while controlling costs. The District Manager will recruit and maintain contracts with independent carriers, manage dealer relations and ensure customer service standards are met.

Qualifications

• Strong management and training experience.
• Experience recruiting, negotiating and maintaining contracts with independent contractors.
• Ability to manage financial and distribution performance metrics.
• Comfort with math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee home delivery, single copy, and HD/SC distribution within a defined district.
• Recruit, negotiate, and manage contracts with independent contractors.
• Monitor route efficiency, performance metrics, and budgets for the district.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and company policies across the district.
• Collaborate with other District Managers to improve efficiencies.
