Job summary

Plainedge Union Free School District seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Supervisor of District Data & Educational Systems.

The role leads SIS management, NYS compliance reporting, SSO rostering, and third‑party integrations while ensuring data integrity and operational health of core educational technology systems for the district.

Responsibilities include supporting end users, coordinating with BOCES, and maintaining secure access across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Student Information Systems (SIS) and educational data workflows.
• Knowledge of NYS data reporting requirements (Level 0/2) and BEDS IMF/SCCS surveys.
• Experience with data privacy and access control across district systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration, maintenance, and security of core systems (PowerSchool, Frontline, Parent Square, Staff Trac).
• Administer SSO and automated rostering via Clever, ClassLink, and Google Workspace Admin Console.
• Evaluate and deploy new edtech apps and integrations; manage data workflows and access protocols.
• Manage student data, enrollment, assessments, and report card processing.
