Job summary

Ardmore Roderick is seeking a District Coordinating Engineer to join our team in Chicago, IL, with on-site work at a client site and potential for hybrid arrangements depending on project needs. You will coordinate water and sewer repairs, manage permits, and support the project management team across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant project experience.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and InforEAM for daily tasks and coordination.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling and monitoring of water and sewer repairs for DWM.
• Coordinate and track applicable permits for water and sewer repairs.
• Support DWM management with documentation, communications, reporting and coordination.
• Monitor Salesforce and EAM for emergency/new jobs and schedule repairs.
• Schedule Water and Sewer jobs for the upcoming week (70-80 locations per district).
• Request and monitor CDOT permits and 811-dig tickets, and coordinate with Central Dispatch Center.
• Prepare daily work orders and distribute to crews; update and close orders when done.
• Create and maintain barricade, restoration, and service line work orders as needed.
• Create, schedule and close BES Sewer work orders.
• Audit work order data (comments, flyers, service line, etc).
• Monitor incomplete work orders in EAM and coordinate removals or holds.

Job Overview

We are seeking a new District Coordinating Engineer to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a District Coordinating Engineer, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located on-site at our client’s office in Chicago, IL and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling and monitoring of water and sewer repairs for DWM
• Coordinate and track applicable permits for water and sewer repairs
• Provide support within the DWM management team, including documentation, communications, reporting and coordination
• Monitor SalesForce and EAM for emergency/new jobs to schedule for repairs
• Schedule both Water and Sewer jobs for the upcoming week (70‐80 locations per district) or reschedule current work due to unforeseen circumstances
• Request and monitor CDOT permits and 811‐dig tickets ‑ requests are sent to Central Dispatch Center (Leak Desk)
• Print out daily work order/location sheets and any other paperwork required for day and night crews – distribute to the repair crews
• Update water and sewer repair work orders with required information and close work orders when repairs are complete
• Create and/or maintain work orders for Barricades requests, Restoration and Equity Lead Service Lines as required
• Create, schedule and close BES Sewer work orders
• Monitor/audit certain fields when work order paperwork is returned (comments, flushing flier, service line, etc)
• Monitor EAM for incomplete work orders requesting tree/stump removals or jobs on hold due to conflicts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience project experience
• Be comfortable with Salesforce and InforEAM to complete daily tasks and coordination efforts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
• Have good to great organizational skills

• Bach in civil
• Advanced degree(s)

Salary Range: $93,600-124,800,Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
