Job summary

Pareap is seeking a Manager of Compliance & Assessment to oversee district-wide compliance for Special Education and EL programs and to manage standardized testing and accountability systems. The role provides leadership and training to staff to ensure equitable access, accurate data reporting, and regulatory adherence.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Special Education, with strong data management and communication

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education, TESOL, ESL, or related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Special Education; ESL endorsement preferred.
• Knowledge of Special Education and EL regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with standardized testing coordination and accountability systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.
• Ability to lead professional development and provide coaching to staff.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide district-level leadership to IEP and EL teams for effective IEP/LIEP implementation.
• Liaise to ensure compliance with safeguards, due process, and documentation for SPED and EL.
• Ensure PDE, IDEA, and Section 504 adherence across programs.
• Monitor IEPs, evaluations, and Manifestation Determination reviews for dual-identified students.
• Collaborate with Special Education, EL, and general education staff to ensure equitable access.
• Track and audit IEP/EL records using electronic systems and manual processes.
• Analyze compliance data trends and recommend policy/procedure improvements.
• Coach staff on best practices and provide professional development on EL accommodations.
• Attend training and lead EL-related professional development.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports to leadership.
• Serve as a contact during audits, monitoring visits, and program reviews.
