Job summary

New Braunfels Chamber seeks a strategic Director of Marketing & Community Relations to shape the district’s narrative across platforms, coordinate outreach, and position the organization as a district of choice in the community.

The role leads marketing campaigns, messaging, events, and external communications, aligning storytelling with district priorities and family-centered messaging to engage students, families, and the broader community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field preferred.
• Experience creating and managing marketing projects.
• Strong presentation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and stewardship of the district’s narrative and brand voice.
• Ensure consistency across districtwide communications.
• Translate goals into family-centered messaging for audiences.
• Oversee integrated marketing campaigns for enrollment and community awareness.
• Align paid, owned, and earned media with district priorities.
• Guide internal and external communications and media relations.
• Provide leadership for district events and special communications needs.
• Monitor engagement metrics and refine strategies accordingly.
