Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a District Behavior Specialist in Maple Grove, MN, to inspire and support scholars with behavioral and academic challenges. Lead strategies, collaborate with teachers and guardians, and implement IEP/Behavior Support Plan goals with fidelity.

Starting date is ASAP, with district-wide and site-level professional learning support. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and MN teaching licensure, with Tier 2 licensure eligibility if not currently licensed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license, special license preferred.
• If not licensed, willing to apply for Tier 2 license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, guide, evaluate and revise strategies to improve achievement and engagement for scholars with behavior and academic challenges.
• Consult with teachers, staff, administrators and guardians to plan strategies.
• Coach staff in Behavior Support Plan implementation.
• Collaborate with instructional staff to create a structured and supportive classroom environment.
• Ensure IEP and Behavior Support Plan goals are implemented with fidelity.
• Work with district and site teams to deliver professional learning and support.
