Job summary

Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri is seeking a Community Engagement Manager for District 16 to oversee volunteer experiences and recruitment of girls and adults across Schuyler, Scotland, Clark, Lewis and Knox counties. The role collaborates with schools and community partners to promote Girl Scouting and ensure accessible programs, with a hybrid work model.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 6 months, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain such within 6 months of employment.
• Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Research market data and demographics to understand community needs for girl and adult recruitment.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term recruitment/retention strategies for members.
• Hold community recruitment events for registration and placement of new members.
• Represent Girl Scouting in the community, promoting membership benefits.
• Build relationships with schools within the jurisdiction.
• Oversee the volunteer experience for all participating adults.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and funding source regulations.
• Collaborate with team to advance the mission of Girl Scouts.
