Job summary

MnDOT District 1 seeks a leader to guide engineering and administrative efforts shaping the district's project pipelines. You will oversee planning, traffic engineering, project management, right of way and surveying, coordinating with teams and external partners to deliver a fiscally responsible and well-coordinated highway improvement program.

The role provides executive oversight for early project planning and scoping, ensuring District 1's readiness for design and construction and alignment

Qualifications

• Licensure as a professional Engineer with the Minnesota AELSLAGID board.
• Five years of professional post-registration experience, including at least three years at Engineer Principal level.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and administrative functions shaping District 1 project pipelines.
• Oversee planning, traffic engineering, project management, right of way, and surveying.
• Coordinate work across teams and external partners.
• Ensure program readiness for design and construction.
• Provide executive oversight with fiscal alignment.
