Eaton’s North American Sales division seeks a Distributor Sales Representative based in Roseville, CA. You will manage a local distributor network, drive sales, and train partners while coordinating product promotions and pricing information.

You will interface with distributors and internal teams to provide sales and technical assistance, analyze market trends, and support order processing and inventory management. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year in sales, sales support or marketing.
• Valid driver's license required.
• On-site role; reside within 50 miles of Roseville, CA.

Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Distributor Sales Representative to join its team. This position will be based at our Roseville, CA location, covering the greater Sacramento, Fresno, and Reno territories. This exciting opportunity provides responsibility for managing an assigned customer base, growing sales within a local market, and supporting distributor partners. The role includes sales execution, distributor training, inventory management support, market intelligence gathering, and customer relationship development.What you’ll do:The primary function of Distributor Sales Representative is to manage the assigned customer base to increase sales in the local marketplace and provide sales and technical assistance to distributors and internal personnel. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with assigned distributors by providing a variety of sales support and administrative services in inventory management.In this function you will:Identify and coordinate training needs, product promotion administration, product and price information as well as problem resolution in order to optimize Eaton electrical penetration and salesProvide customer support in the areas of product capabilities, claims and billing adjustmentsAchieve sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or accountsUtilize established co-worker relationships with plants to accomplish the strategic planSupport total quality efforts by providing timely and accurate information for order entry, elevating quality issues to attention of managementCollect, analyze and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preference and buying habitsInterface with assigned distributors by providing a variety of sales support and administrative services in inventory managementTrain distributors on new products, e-commerce and Eaton processes while evaluating distributor training needsConduct local training and/or assisting in registration for Eaton University classesManage and leverage commitments/co-op program while maintaining or creating a point of purchase for distributor counter areasTrain distributors on how to use internal programs such as Vista, Bidmanager and the Commitments programQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum one (1) year of sales, sales support or marketing experiencePossess a valid driver’s licenseNo relocation assistance will be provided for this role.
