Job summary

Avanos Medical in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a logistics/customer service professional to act as the main contact for distributors and key accounts. You will manage orders, pricing, credit, and logistics, troubleshoot EDI issues, and maintain accurate records in customer-facing systems.

The role emphasizes analytics, timely communication with stakeholders, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to enhance customer experience and transaction efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or customer service.
• Strong analytical ability and sound judgment in decision-making.

• Experience with SAP systems and processes.
• Experience with SFDC systems and processes.
• 3+ years hands-on SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for distributor and key account inquiries related to orders, pricing, credit, logistics, customs, damage, shipping, and similar matters.
• Own order management for key accounts and distributors, including EDI troubleshooting, overages, shortages, damages, logistics, and back-office issues.
• Track, analyze, and communicate team metrics and key account data, then recommend and implement improvements.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with leaders, peers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain customer-facing systems, processes, and reporting, including the customer portal and EDI.
• Handle returns and order adjustments.
• Collaborate across functions to gather insights that strengthen customer experience and transaction efficiency.
• Develop shipment plans with internal partners to better meet customer needs.
• Ensure customers receive the necessary documentation and we keep customer records up to date.
• Use project management skills to build implementation plans and accurate timelines that support business goals.
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset within customer service.
