Distribution Warehouse Operations Manager

Who We Are: My client is a local family-owned wholesale distributor that has been in business for over 50 years. They focus on building relationships with their clients and providing quality service. They offer flexible delivery and various payment options.

Location: Woodburn, Oregon

Compensation: $90-145k/year DOE

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily operations of the distribution warehouse, overseeing all warehouse productivity for approximately 30 staff members, including receiving, unloading, inspecting, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Leverage computer data related to worker productivity, inventory, and packing/shipping accuracy to implement policies and procedures aimed at improving performance.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Business Manager to forecast workloads and hiring needs.
• Recruit, train, and coach warehouse staff.
• Participate with the Branch Management team to create the annual business plan.
• Lead in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a hands-on approach when necessary.
