Job summary

World Market is seeking a Maintenance team member to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on Distribution Center equipment and the building, with knowledge of automated sortation systems a plus.

2nd shift hours: 3:30pm-12:00am. VA pay range is $22.63-$25.53 per hour. Full and part-time roles available with comprehensive benefits and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with maintenance of automated systems is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance of conveyor systems.
• Maintain pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Basic facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and carpentry.

• Light Industrial and fabrication skills
• Troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance of automated conveyor systems
• Troubleshooting of Pneumatics of valves and systems
• Understanding motor control wiring and both AC and DC electrical troubleshooting techniques
• Troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance on Hydraulics for baling and lift equipment
• Basic knowledge, operations, and maintenance of HVAC systems
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance (plumbing, lighting, and carpentry)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to operate all forklift in the facility.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs and ladders during shift
• Temperatures in the warehouse vary with the seasons; dress appropriately
• Ability to work from platform equipment

VA Pay Range is $22.63-$25.53 per hour

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
