Job summary

World Market is seeking a Maintenance team member to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on distribution center equipment and building systems in Windsor, VA. Knowledge of automated sortation and conveyors is a plus. This 2nd shift runs 3:30pm–12:00am with a pay range of $22.63–$25.53 per hour.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong electrical, HVAC, and mechanical skills. OSHA safety knowledge and experience with powered industrial trucks are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong electrical knowledge and HVAC understanding desired.
• Experience with light industrial equipment and maintenance workflows.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics and motor control wiring.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards (Lockout/Tagout).
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on distribution center equipment and building.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automated conveyor systems.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic valves, hydraulics, and motor control wiring.
• Maintain HVAC systems and basic facility components (plumbing, lighting, carpentry).
• Follow safety procedures and participate in team maintenance planning.
• Support continuous improvement and standard maintenance practices.

WHAT You’ll Do

• Light Industrial and fabrication skills
• Troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance of automated conveyor systems
• Troubleshooting of Pneumatics of valves and systems
• Understanding motor control wiring and both AC and DC electrical troubleshooting techniques
• Troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance on Hydraulics for baling and lift equipment
• Basic knowledge, operations, and maintenance of HVAC systems
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance (plumbing, lighting, and carpentry)
• Other duties assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate all forklift in the facility.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs and ladders during shift
• Temperatures in the warehouse vary with the seasons; dress appropriately
• Ability to work from platform equipment

Work Location: Windsor Virginia Distribution Center
