Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated, a global leader in flavor, seeks a Distribution Technician to work in our Regional Distribution Center in Byhalia, MS. Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping customer orders, and operating material handling equipment with accuracy and timeliness.

Under supervision, you will perform inbound receiving, replenishment, and order selection, maintain documentation, and assist with inventory. Overtime on short notice may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• General education; GED required as minimum.
• Experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse is preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and speaking skills required.
• Must have SAP Transactions/Process Training or willingness to learn.
• Typing and data entry proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs, and ships customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Performs inbound receiving, put-aways, replenishment, and order selection.
• Completes paperwork and system transactions.
• Participates in shift meetings and assists with process improvements.
