Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology; or an Associate's degree with electrical theory coursework.
• Willingness to consider seven years of Journey Lineworker experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum three years' experience as a step 7 Technician to advance to step 10.
• Must pass the TECH test and demonstrate knowledge of the Safety Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and field work for distribution facilities (overhead and underground) and subtransmission systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, estimates, permits, and add records in DMS/Maximo/NJUNS/Joint Use.
• Use GIS/GPS and CAD to create/modify company assets and attachments.
• Coordinate projects and meet with customers and municipal representatives; provide quotes.
• Inspect third-party attachments and ensure compliance with Company specs.
• Maintain records and coordinate with GIS technicians on data collection.
