Duquesne Light Company, headquartered in downtown Pittsburgh, seeks a Distribution Technician (Step 7) to design and implement distribution and subtransmission projects. You will prepare drawings, calculations, and permits, using Maximo, NJUNS, and GIS tools, while coordinating with customers and utility partners.

The role requires a technical degree or substantial field experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a company test. Starting rate is $77,286 annually.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or an ABET-equivalent associate degree.
• Seven years Journey Lineworker experience qualifies without a degree.
• Three years' experience as Step 7 Technician to advance to Step 10; must pass TECH test.

Responsabilidades

• Perform design and field work on distribution and subtransmission facilities.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, estimates, permits, and related records (DMS, Maximo, NJUNS, Joint Use/TPA).
• Use GIS/GPS portals to create/modify Company assets and third party attachments.
• Coordinate projects; provide customers with single contact, quote costs, and collect fees.
• Inspect third party attachments and ensure compliance with Company specs.
