Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center in Chaska, MN is seeking a Inventory Specialist to maintain floor stock and PAR level items across assigned areas. You will create and maintain location-specific inventory lists and serve as the first point of contact for supply issues.

You will verify damaged, recalled, and expired products, monitor inventory levels, and support efficiency improvements in workflows. A valid Minnesota driver's license and 5+ years in healthcare supply chain are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain.
• Must be 21-years of age to meet Ridgeview's insurability requirements.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 + years of experience in healthcare supply chain
• Must be 21-years of age to meet Rigeview's insurability requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to make simple mathematic calculations, including the use of a calculator
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License/Certification

• Valid MN Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of storeroom and inventory functions in a healthcare setting
• MN DOT Certification

Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
