Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a Distribution Technician to operate within the Regional Distribution Center in Byhalia, MS, reporting to a Crew Lead. You will pick, pack and ship orders, and handle material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inputting paperwork, supporting inventory and special orders, and participating in continuous improvements. A forklift license and SAP training are preferred. GED required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math, reading, and speaking skills.
• Minimum required certifications required to perform the job.
• Experience using material handling equipment in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic MS Windows experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/shipping all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate material handling equipment (transporter, forklift, etc.).
• Input paperwork and system transactions per SOPs and provide customers with required documentation.
• Assist with inventory, returns, replenishment, and co-label or export order selection if needed.
• Attend shift/team meetings and participate in process improvements.
