Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, part of Danaher, seeks a Distribution Tech to join the Indianapolis team on-site. You will pick, pack, and ship customer orders, operate forklifts, and use RF devices to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

The role emphasizes inventory control, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with the Shipping Supervisor to meet daily throughput and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience required or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Proficient with RF scanning devices and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery such as forklifts and RF scan guns to load/unload trailers and move stock.
• Prepare bills of lading, verify receipts, pick/pack and stage orders to meet daily productivity goals.
• Track and replenish stock, update inventory in the warehouse management system, and ensure accuracy of serial/lot numbers.

The Distribution Tech Is Responsible For

• Pick, pack and shipping of customer orders.
• Operation of Powered Industrial Equipment to pick and put-away parts.
• Other duties relating to distribution of product including reading and picking orders based on a picklist, use of RF Devices and computers and attention to detail relating to picking of serial and lot numbers, and consolidation of large orders.

This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor and is part of the Operations team located in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns to safely load and unload trailers or move stock.
• Prepare bills of lading, verify receipts, pick, pack, weigh, and stage customer orders to meet daily productivity standards.
• Track, and replenish stock items, update warehouse management systems (Oracle), and manage inventory.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• High School/GED Equivalency and 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience.
• Oracle, RF scanning device, and forklift experience preferred.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Must be able to lift 45 lbs. without mechanical/lift assist and able to work within a team environment.
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Using machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks.
• Tracking stock via barcode scanners, RF devices.
• Understanding workplace safety protocols.
