Position Overview

The Associate Technician Shipping/Receiving & Distribution is responsible for receiving, shipping, and inventory control of materials, reagents, instruments, or equipment to meet customer expectations. The role reports to the Distribution Supervisor and is part of the Distribution Center team located in Hebron, KY. This is an on‑site position.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store product, pick and pack product for shipment, and ship orders.
• Inspect materials for orders, verifying accurate quantity, lot number, expiration dates, and product part number.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and scrap damaged product.
• Use a laptop for daily inventory tasks; basic computer skills are essential.
• Create and ensure appropriate documentation for orders, reconcile inventory, and perform data entry functions as assigned.
• Operate powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks.
• Identify and resolve routine problems in the work area with the management team; assist with lean and quality improvement projects.

Essential Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in a fast‑paced environment.
• Inventory experience, including cycle counts, reconciliation, and scrapping damaged product.
• Basic computer skills and daily use of a laptop.

Physical / Environment Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs multiple times during an 8–10‑hour shift.
• Push, pull, bend, or twist multiple times, up to 2–4 hours continuously during a shift.
• Stand or walk approximately 2–4 hours continuously during a shift.
• Repetitive hand movements (gripping, grasping, manipulation) approximately 2–4 hours intermittently during a shift.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or cherry pickers; cross‑train to work in multiple areas of the facility.
• General conveyor system and forklift machinery experience.
• Exposure to cold (35–46 °F) for approximately 2.5 hours continuously during a shift; PPE including insulated/high‑visibility jackets, gloves, and hand‑warming packs will be provided.
• Steel‑toe shoes required sitewide.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Experience working overtime and in various departments.
