Job summary

Cordia LLC is seeking a Distribution Systems Tech to perform operations, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on distribution piping systems in tunnels, trenches, and customer sites. The role requires pipefitting, fabricating, excavation, and welding skills, with knowledge of distribution equipment.

Key duties include welding and fabricating, locating pipelines, repairing valves and condensate traps, taking meter readings, prioritizing safety over production, organizing parts at multiple

Qualifications

• Experience with steam and chilled water systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate many activities under stress while maintaining safety.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations and maintenance for efficient production.
• Welding experience preferred, arc welding on pipe.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabricating, and troubleshooting of steam distribution piping.
• Locates pipelines and underground facilities.
• Repair condensate traps, valves, and expansion joints.
• Take weekly/monthly meter readings at customer locations.
• Prioritize safety over production and ensure compliance with policies.
• Organize parts inventory across multiple sites and communicate project status to supervisor and contractors.
