Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC seeks a Distribution Center–focused IT/Automation Analyst to bridge Operations, Business Systems, and SAP IT. You will optimize processes, support automation initiatives, and ensure system functionality aligns with business goals.

The role operates embedded within the Atlanta Distribution Center, partnering with site leadership, engineers, analysts, and vendors to improve productivity and service levels through technology investments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
2–4 years of experience in IT/industrial engineering or related field.
Experience with SAP WM and automation is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Identify, analyze, and lead systems-related continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, quality, service levels, and operational efficiency.
Investigate and resolve complex process, system, and automation issues to minimize downtime and preserve productivity.
Serve as the primary business systems liaison between operations and automation vendors for post-implementation support and continuous improvement.
Act as site SME for SAP WM and automation systems and supporting technologies.
Identify opportunities to maximize existing technology investments and system capabilities.
Develop and maintain process documentation and best practices for SAP and automation initiatives.
Coordinate with Business Systems Analysts and IT to define, test, and implement system enhancements.
Facilitate training and change management to ensure adoption of new processes and tools.
