Saddle Creek Corporation in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to manage and mentor hourly associates in a fast-paced environment. You will support multiple clients by ensuring productivity, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service, while promoting LEAN principles and safety.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a leadership role, a high school diploma, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

• 2+ years of leadership experience leading hourly teams.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration to motivate others.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.

• Lead and coach hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Support a wide range of clients with supply chain needs.
• Maintain productivity standards and cost-control metrics.
• Ensure customer service excellence via KPIs such as order fill accuracy and inventory control.
• Drive performance through KPI monitoring and Lean process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and uphold safety goals.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and feedback to associates.
• Conduct annual performance reviews.

Location: Winter Haven, FL

Shift: Friday - Sunday, every other Thursday, 6 pm - 6 am

What you will do:

• Manage and lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse team environment
• Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains
• Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding Productivity standards and cost control management
• Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for assigned area of responsibility
• Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement
• Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment. Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals
• Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates
• Coach, train, and mentor associates, allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop
• Conduct annual performance reviews

Our ideal candidate will have…

• 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross-trained to do more where needed

It’s not required, but it would be even better if you have…

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience
• Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus but not required
• Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and warehouse management software applications)
