Job Description

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely warehouse operations, including safety, receiving, storage, order picking, shipping, inventory management, and facility management. The role involves leading and directing warehouse associates within safety, quality, cost, and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead materials improvement initiatives related to cost savings at Kraft Heinz Champaign
• Drive productivity improvements in the plant
• Participate in the QRMP audit and assist in developing procedures and corrective actions
• Implement the QRMP system and operational standards to achieve targeted RCR and monitor inventories for efficiency
• Ensure proper handling of inventory during loading and unloading
• Partner with leadership on process improvements (Six Sigma/Lean/HGPS), lead change initiatives, and ensure compliance with EHS and ORM policies
• Promote a performance-based culture focused on continuous improvement and safety
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse and shipping in manufacturing
• Knowledge of GMP and safe work practices
• MRP experience preferred; SAP experience is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Six Sigma Blackbelt preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
