Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead day-to-day distribution operations, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets while upholding Starbucks' guiding principles. You will supervise a team, drive safety, Kaizen and Lean initiatives, and coordinate with plant and distribution partners to keep schedules on track.

Strong leadership, communication, and WMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Distribution or supply chain experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in distribution or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• 1 year experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• High school diploma or GED (or military service).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily distribution operations to meet quality, cost, and service goals.
• Model leadership and develop team performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and enforce safety rules.
• Coordinate with managers, peers and partners for timely information flow.
• Monitor throughput, volume fluctuations, and labor utilization.
• Document timekeeping accurately for all team members.
• Support Kaizen/Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
