Job summary

ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead the delivery team in a defined territory. This role runs from 4:00am to 1:00pm, Monday through Friday, coordinating drivers and ensuring on-time performance.

Responsibilities include staff development, maintaining Coca-Cola quality standards, and managing labor and OPEX within budget. You will also serve as a liaison between distribution and sales and uphold safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in consumer products/direct store delivery.
• Experience managing people and budgets.
• 1+ years supervising distribution/delivery staff.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
• Train direct reports on product rotation, credit procedures, and safe driving to minimize loss.
• Understand and enforce Coca-Cola quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage drivers, delivery schedules, and hours.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and resolve issues.
• Liaise between distribution and sales.
• Manage timekeeping and labor/OPEX budgets.
• Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures.
• Participate in Hazard Mitigation and complete health & safety trainings.

Summary:

Responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of product and management of drivers within a specific territory. This position is 4:00am to 1:00 pm M-F.

Responsibilities:

• Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
• Accountable for training direct reports (including drivers), in how to properly rotate product, credit product in the trade, and effective driving techniques to minimize BD&L (breakage, damage, and loss) (included in that number is aging product)
• Must fully understand the quality standards established by the Coca-Cola Company and enforce those with their direct reports
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies, and regulatory requirements.
• Managedrivers; delivery schedule and hours worked.
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues.
• Serve as liaison between distribution and sales.
• Manage and audit team member's timekeeping.
• Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
• Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
• Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
• Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required.
• Requires experience managing people/budgets.
• 1+ years supervising distribution/delivery staff preferred.
• Intermediate computer and database application skills.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
• CDL preferred.
