Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Corporation – North America is seeking a Distribution Specialist II for the CDC in New Bern, NC. The role focuses on cost-effective, process-driven appliance distribution to customers and collaboration with warehouses, carriers, and customers to optimize delivery and returns.

You will monitor shipments, coordinate with 3PLs, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining performance metrics. This full-time position offers a structured pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in business/logistics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution.
• SAP R/3 experience is desired but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing control of open customer orders and returns.
• Plan shipments to customers and returns from customers.
• Coordinate information flow with warehouses and carriers.
• Assign shipments and engage transport providers.
• Monitor transport availability and truck punctuality.
• Track delivery lead times and product returns.
• Make decisions to resolve delivery/return irregularities.
• Create delivery/return reports and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with warehouses, carriers, and other departments.
• Meet defined process indicators and perform other duties.
